Day 6

I decided to put up our Halloween decorations early this year, so we put up the outdoor ones over the weekend and I put up the indoor ones this morning. That also means I need to get cracking on finishing my haunted house! I spraypainted it black and purple a few weeks ago, but started doing the details today.





And if anyone has any ideas on what to do with the front door, I would love to hear them! I thought about painting the arch, but I'm worried too much gray would make it too light. I'm thinking I might just paint the doorbell to make it stand out. I'm just not sure what to do!

That house is looking great. I do think the door arch (and maybe the window arches, too) needs something to make it pop. Do you have a grey that is a little darker than the accent grey that you've already painted?

I definitely agree with you about the windows. I didn't want to do them in purple because I didn't think it would look good on the ones in the roof (which is more purple than it looks in the photos). I'll play around with the gray and see what I can come up with.

Thanks! I decided to paint the dormers to match the main house too, which I think helps bring it together.
