I'm not even sure where this pendant came from, it might have been part of a set I got. But given the message I didn't want to make the theme light or cute. I decided to work with the silver and include some confetti beads I had in black, since I had a number of other black balls.

I've been traveling, and today, I felt recovered enough to actually make a post.

Day 5

On the plane, I made progress on the cross stitch:

At that point, I discovered that I had miscounted, and I couldn't recover without frogging. The sunlight was gone, and airplane lighting is terrible,so I decided to leave the frogging and restitching for another day.

So I picked up the knitting loom, and started knitting a baby hat in 2 colors of #3 variegated yarn:

(While I crafted, I listened to Bookshops and Bonedust written and narrated by Travis Baldree, who is just the loveliest narrator!)

Day 6

I spent most of the day recovering from the flight, and knitting was the easiest things to do, so I finished knitting the baby hat.

Day 7

I had more energy today, so I put on KPOP DH for rewatch (I love the music) and frogged back to the mis-stitch on the cross stitch:

And then, I restitched back to where I had stopped, plus a few more rows...

I'll try to catch up with comments tomorrow.

I did get three bags of yarn out of my house.

I decided to spend some time looking through crafts books I have on hand. I am fairly sure that one on nuno felting is going to go. I'm think there are a couple of others I'll probably take if I do a used bookstore run in the next couple of weeks.
