I've been working on this Tunisian crochet afghan much of the year and I'm trying to use this month to finish it (and, I hope, working on a couple of other afghans that are in the UFO stack). I may also do some needlepoint.

Here's the front, spread on my (queen size) bed. The afghan is 44 inches across and, when I started today, it was 34 inches long. My goal is for it to end up about 60 inches long. Right after I took these pictures I did one row. (Well, it's really two rows with Tunisian crochet, since you pull up the loops on one row and work them off on the next.) The yarn is Caron Big Cakes, given to me by a friend who was decluttering her stash.

I folded over part of it, so you can see what the back looks like.

Your afghan looks great! I love Tunisian crochet, I find the movement of working the loops of the hook very relaxing.

I love the orange and yellow contrast with the greys. I always admire crocheters; that's not a skill I have been able to acquire.

Looks like a large project, I can see why it's taken some time. Good luck in meeting your goal!
