Took a break from the cross stitching to do some other bits today and I'm glad I did! There's a few things so I'll put it under a cut to keep it from being a long post
First might not count as a craft, but I’d made a load of paper stars earlier in the year, to the point that the box I was keeping them in wouldn’t even close. I also had this coke glass with tissue paper in that I’m sure was sentimental (but I forget why) but doesn’t really go with my all-pink bedroom, so I replaced it with some of the stars. I really like the pattern- I think I wish I'd have made a bit of a smoother gradient, but at least Mr Worm has a pretty new place to live

I also made some Halloween costumes for my Sylvanian families blind bag babies. I didn’t have a pattern for these, but I took inspo from pinterest. I also only have Christmas colour felt - so no Pumpkin :( (actually as a side note, does anyone know if you can use a felt tip pen on felt to colour it without ruining the texture?)
The ghost was pretty simple, I just traced around the cat leaving what I hoped was enough space, then cut out two shapes. It was a bit of a tight fit and when I sewed them together I realised it definitely wouldn’t go on if I turned it inside out, but that’s okay. I then cut a tiny face hole out and slowly increased it until it fit nicely. It looks a bit lopsided and home-made, but I quite like it!

For the second one I wanted to make a devil costume (the only red thing I could think of). I saw a picture of a cape made from a rectangle with a head hole. My first attempt I cut the head hole wayyy too big, and the second it was still slightly too big, so I snipped the cape at the front and added a snap button to hold it in place which i think looks SO cute. I have a set of gems that I’ll use to hide the stitches at the collar but i don’t have any fabric glue at the minute so that’ll be a job for another day.

I have one more smaller baby that still needs a costume
