NaCraMaMo Day 6: Jewelry

It's rare that I think of the toggle on a necklace until I'm done with the design, or even stringing. In part that's because I don't always use a toggle, since necklaces with small light beads usually need something with a clasp. The toggles depend on a heavy weight to keep them in place, unless they are quite small themselves. So I usually get a sense of the weight once the necklace is done before deciding if a toggle will work.
The other reason is that most of my toggles are either plain or have decorative designs, they aren't figures. So it's mostly a matter of matching the style of rest of the necklace. But in going through my stash recently with another necklace, I was reminded of the dragonfly ones.
The cat pendant is fairly simple and not particularly cutesy, so I was trying to think of something more restrained with it. And I got the idea that the cat is sitting in a window on a grey day watching the dragonfly outside (which of course it will want to chase!)
